Prerequisite: successful completion of Tool Training Workshop or full week Tinkering Camp within the past 12 months, or permission of the Facilitator.

Up to three hours of shop time with all the tools and materials at reDiscover!  You will have the support of knowledgeable Facilitators on making a crafting or woodworking project of your choosing.  Use hand tools independently and stationary power tools with direct supervision. Tinkering Open Studio is a lightly supervised shop session for independent tinkerers and makers.

Use all of the materials in reDiscover's Creative Reuse Materials Warehouse, from beads, buttons, and jar lids to full sheets of plywood. The first 5 pounds of materials used in your project are included in the price.  Additional materials will be billed at $1 per pound at the end of the session, or recycled back into reDiscover's supplies.  There is no on-site storage of unfinished projects between sessions.  All participants must wear closed toed shoes, have loose hair tied back, and correctly use safety equipment.
