Yeltsin Penado joined reDiscover Center as a Programs Manager in 2021. He works closely with Facilitators and interns through collaborative teaching and by creating curriculum and educational materials. Yeltsin is passionate about arts education with an emphasis on diversity and inclusive lesson structures.

Yeltsin studied Painting and Community Arts Engagement at Otis College of Art and Design and comes to reDiscover with experience in informal education, studio art, STEM, digital fabrication, and team management in dynamic settings. Yeltsin's artistic expertise ranges from sourcing his own natural pigments for drawing and painting to 3D Animation. He creates art from his studio at the Artist Co-op in Long Beach, has exhibited locally and internationally, and is featured in the collection of the Long Beach Public Library.
