Lynne B. Clark has been working in the Los Angeles non-profit sector for nearly three decades. Following her tenure as Director of Development at UCLA’s Fowler Museum (1997-2008) she began her own fundraising consultant business where she specializes in working with community-based arts organizations. During this time, she has served as a grant review panelist for the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and the LA County Arts Commission and taught professional courses on grant writing. As an artist who primarily works with found and recycled materials, Lynne feels strongly about finding new ways to foster creativity while promoting adaptive re-use and increasing sustainability. She first became enamored with reDiscover and its mission in 2010 when she brought her children to the Center. She loves how her boys, then just 3 and 4, have found new ways to create, connect, and problem solve, and have become more aware of conservation and reuse in deeper ways as they grow. She is particularly excited about reDiscover’s plans to expand its outreach and increase its impact on low-income and foster care youth.
