We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering creativity through hands-on making and sustainable practices. We provide youth and adults with the tools, resources, and skills to transform discarded materials into art and functional objects. Through camps, school programs, and community events, we empower youth to become problem-solvers. We cultivate creativity while promoting the value of sustainable reuse.

Our public youth makerspaces in Venice and Mid City host K-6 camps, all-ages workshops, and weekend family maker sessions. We also provide hands-on classroom STEAM education and field trips to schools.
Tinkering & Woodworking Camp
Tinkering camp are week long or one-day camps where kids can bring their wildest ideas to life using cardboard, wood, plastic, metal, and fabric. Participants receive personalized guidance to develop new skills and explore creative construction in a safe and supportive environment.
Weekend Family Crafting
Get creative with a hands-on crafting session at Rediscover Center Venice! Explore an array of upcycled materials, fabric, carpet tubes, wire, foam, sparkle paper, and more. With tools and project ideas for all ages and skill levels, our Family Crafting crew is here to guide you.
In-School Programs
Rediscover offers hands-on tinkering programs for PreK-8, including in-class workshops, year-long courses, and 8-12 week after-school sessions. We also host classes and field trips at our makerspaces in Venice and Mid City.
