Community Programs Manager & DEIA Coordinator 

Hanabee Cartagena (she/her) is the Community Programs Manager & DEIA Coordinator. Hanabee started with Rediscover in 2018 as an Intern Facilitator, was hired as a member of the permanent staff in 2019, and was the Distance Learning Programs Manager since 2022. In 2024 she transitioned to Community Programs Manager & DEIA Coordinator. A creative artist in mixed media, digital media, painting, and drawing, (and more than a few other media), Hanabee leads digital initiatives at Rediscover Center, including social media, video and print production, synchronous online facilitation, and additional partnership outreach. Hanabee also coordinate curriculum design and Rediscover's Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Anti-Racism (DEIA) Team. She is a 2020 graduate of Otis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Communication Arts and a minor in Community Arts Engagement.
