Your donations make Rediscover possible! Since its founding in 2004, Rediscover has relied on a mix of program fees and donations from supporters to fund our educational, artistic, and environmental programming. Today, Rediscover's programs reach 14,000 children per year.With your support, we provide:
- LA's largest public youth makerspaces
- Tinkering camps and classes with generous financial aid
- Maker and art programming in 70+ preschools, elementary, middle, and high schools
- Free art and tinkering activities at community festivals, farmers markets, and libraries
- Creative reuse materials and resources to thousands of independent tinkerers

Your Impact
When you give to Rediscover, your donations support hands-on maker education for low income, foster, and homeless youth. Our Financial Aid program provides 100+ youth per year with a camp session and/or semester of tinkering classes. Rediscover's programs provide project-based STEAM education at the Rediscover Center and across Los Angeles. Rediscover empowers youth, teaches creativity, and supports a lifetime of making.
One child who's life has been transformed by Rediscover is LaFrance, a young girl who had been lost in a complex foster situation. Through her time at Rediscover's Tinkering Camps, she found a stable and supportive environment, made personal connections with peers and facilitators, and blossomed as a woodworker and inventor. With your support, we can engage more underserved youth in Los Angeles and expand to new service areas across Los Angeles County.
Structured Donations and Bequests

Sponsorship opportunities are available for aligned partner organizations. Foundations, corporate social responsibility funds, and local businesses support Rediscover. Our partners sponsor public events, volunteer days, infrastructure projects, and ongoing operations, with co-branding opportunities for supporting organizations. Matching Gifts
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your donation to Rediscover Center. Ask your employer if they will match your gift, or check with your HR department to learn more about their matching gift program.
Stock Donations
Donations of appreciated stock support Rediscover's ongoing programs and long term strategic goals. Making a gift of stock or mutual funds to Rediscover is a simple process. Please instruct your broker to electronically transfer the stock or mutual funds to the Rediscover Center Inc. account at Vanguard.
