Director of Operations
Amy Bauer has been a powerhouse in arts administration since 2001. Amy worked at reDiscover from 2014 to 2021, starting as a teaching artist and rising to direct operations. She also served as community ombud, HR generalist and EEO officer. She is a professional member of SHRM and PIHRA. Additionally she conducted reDiscover Center's certification as a Culver City Green Business.
Amy is an artist, fashion designer, exhibit preparator, and experienced visual arts educator. She has been exhibited throughout North America and England and her work can be viewed at amybauerdesigns.com. Amy teaches art at community and private events and for reDiscover Center. Amy co-founded Dreameco Crafts and Fun-A-Day-LA, a yearly free art show for the public. She has a Masters in Educational Technology from New Jersey City University, BA in Creative Arts and Technology from Bloomfield College and AA in Design from County College of Morris. Amy has received certification in HR and Marketing from The Nonprofit Partnership and Advocacy Leadership from Arts for LA.
