15th Anniversary Fundraiser – October 20, 2019

Celebrate reDiscover's 15th anniversary!

Come to reDiscover's Fall Fundraiser for your own chance to get your hands on real tools and real materials, plus enjoy a wine and cheese reception. Use a drill. Try out the chop saw (closely supervised!). Make your own wood scrap sculpture. Give to support reDiscover's scholarship programs and community outreach. Limited tickets. Hosted by reDiscover's board, with remarks by Executive Director Jonathan Bijur.

Give generously to reDiscover and support hands-on maker education for low income, foster, and homeless youth. reDiscover's programs provide project-based STEAM education at the reDiscover Center, at Title I schools, and at free community events. reDiscover empowers youth, fosters creativity, and supports a lifetime of making.

reDiscover Center serves over 10,000 students per year with hands on maker activities using recycled materials, real power tools, and facilitated child-centered exploration. Based on the Westside, programs reach across Los Angeles through workshops, classes, Tinkering School LA camps, and community events. Since 2004, reDiscover has brought together parents, educators, artists, and designers to create a community that is raising a generation of Angelenos that know how to think, make, and tinker.
