Repurpose paper scraps, fabric and yarn to create your own personal journal or sketchbook. All you need is some stationery, card stock or construction paper, fabric, yarn, a hole punch and scissors.
Cut and stack multiple rectangular shaped sheets of paper. Used here are 8.5” x 11” pieces of stationary and one piece of card stock (black) cut in half for the journal/book cover.
Stack sheets evenly, fold in half and punch holes along the center crease. Lace yarn through the holes and tie securely.
Wrap fabric around the outer layer (cardstock) and glue or tape down on one side of the book only!
Fold the book closed and proceed to finish adhering the fabric to the other side of the cover.
Now you have a multipurpose handmade book!!
