On the tenth day, of the tenth month of their tenth year the reDiscover Center on Washington Boulevard gathered friends and supporters to celebrate and look forward. Director Mary Beth Trautwien, (Pictured left with City Council Member Jim Clarke and reDiscover teacher Jonathan Bijur) was delighted to commemorate the past and plan for the future.
City Councilman Jim Clarke presented a commendation to the group,

“I congratulate you on the achievement of your 10th anniversary in Culver City. Your dedication to resourcefulness, conservation, creativity, and community engagement mirrors the goals of the City and you are heartily commended for your efforts to make Culver City a more sustainable place to live.”

Jim Clarke went on to mention his personal connection to the center as a donor of used tennis balls.
